Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

 Author Guidelines and Paper Eligibility Criteria

  • Articles must be in compliance to the Journal’s Focus, Scope, Editorial Policy and Guidelines.
  • The Findings must be Significance to Knowledge Contributions.
  • Adequacy of the Literature Review.
  • Adequacy of the Methodology used.
  • Clarity of the Presentations (grammar, concepts, clarity of objectives, and organization of the manuscript)
  • Validity of Conclusion.
  • Pertinency of the recommendations.

 

Manuscript Submission Criteria

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word file formats. Please do not submit PDF files. The text should be double-spaced and on 12-point font sizes and Times New Romans. All illustrations, figures, and tables should be placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Manuscripts should be formatted for printing on an A4 paper layout. The language of the JSRI is English. The JSRI accepts both American or British spelling and terminology, as long as the author(s) maintain consistency of each, throughout the manuscript. Articles should preferably not exceed 6,000 words.

Online Submission: Visit the Journal website at: journals.parogroup.org, click LOGIN ant the far right-hand side, then register as an Author. After the registration, follow the prompts to submit your paper.

Manual Submission: You can submit manually to: info@parojournals.com, bodigbo@gmail.com. The Editors will review your paper, and if it meets initial qualification, it will then be sent out for blind-peer reviews.

Abstract

The abstract should not be more than 300 words but must capture all the technical areas of the work: a brief introduction of the subject matter, a tight summary of the problem or issues that motivated it, summarized objectives, a tight summary of the methodology, tight summary of the results and recommendations.

Keywords

Authors should provide a minimum of four and a maximum of six keywords below the abstract. The keywords must adhere to the contents of the manuscript.

Figures

All figures should be numbered in one consecutive series of Arabic numerals.

Tables

All tables should be numbered in one consecutive series of Arabic numerals.

Quotations

Use double quotation marks for direct quotations and single quotation marks for quotes within quotes.

Citations and References

Authors may use either the APA style or the Harvard style of referencing.

Please note that not following the instructions given above, in your submission(s) will most likely lead to the rejection of a paper without further evaluation!
